REAIDY RESIDENCE

Project: REAIDY RESIDENCE

Apartment Area: 700 m²

Category: Residential

Address: Fanar - Lebanon

The design

This penthouse was designed for a new-wed couple that are in love with details, open spaces and lighting. In the first floor, we opted for earthy colors using “Bottocino” marble flooring and “Pietra” grey marble for the walls.

Guiding the living space, a reflective black painted glass was used to reflect the astonishing view over Beirut city. The aim was to suck the exterior mood into the apartment itself through reflections. The ceiling is designed using linear lighting elements forming geometrical shapes in harmony with the partitioning steel element separating the living room from the dining room. The ceiling is interrupted by linear wood strip panels connecting the TV unit to different parts of the house.

Observation

A cigars lounge was located next to the bar area highlighted by a long chester field sofa serving as an iconic element in contrast with a modern furniture approach in the rest of the house.

To differentiate the identity of both floors, the second floor was designed using grey scale palette of colors mixed with wood. The open space kitchen was set to connect visually with the sitting room unifying the entire space as one.
